Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting King James Baptist Church online. While many churches today are seeking for something new and contemporary, the King James Baptist church is determined to follow the "old paths". "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." Jeremiah 6:16  Our Churchs desire is to follow the first part of that verse. We believe there is truth and safety in doing so.

Our Mission

We believe that God is still saving souls and Christians can still actively seek God's Will. Our mission is to be fully devoted to God's Word, Obey His Spirit, and Faithfully Witness and Encourage Others. We strive to show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. We remind one another to not be content knowing that we are saved, but to live for the Lord Jesus Christ, and reinforce our witness with a testimony that the Gospel still changes Lives.

The first Sunday of every month, (weather permitting) we will go out street preaching where all are welcome to attend and join as we try to win souls for the Lord.  "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." Proverbs 11:30

Nursing Home Ministry is every 5th Sunday of the month at Genesis Nursing Home in LaPlata, MD. Unfortunately as of right now the nursing homes are off limits due to the Coronavirus. We will be returning to bless the elderly a soon as it is available for us to do so.
